When you affect a situation, you have an effect on it
I used to live in a flat with a very odd door, and that's all I could ever remember. This led to me assuming my initial key rotation strategy was going to be wrong and adopting a random selection process to get into my own home. I'm having a very similar affect/effect problem at the moment.
